It is my favorite tarot card from my favorite deck; the Sun card from the Hermetic Tarot by Godfrey Dowson.</B></div> <bR> <bR> <DIV ALIGN="LEFT"></DIV> <div> <B>Sweet is the Truth </B></div> <div> <B>For starters (and the 70's sake) I am a 9th house Gemini, Libra rising with a Leo moon. I will spare you the timeline and just tell you that I have been interested in religion and "finding God" since I was old enough to understand the concept. </B></div> <div> <B>Originally a southern baptist, I was and am well versed in the Bible and by age 11 was preaching services now and then. About the age of 16 my eyes were opened and somehow that was unacceptable to the church so I left it behind to pursue the truth of this "spirituality" matter. Since then I have faithfully studied the Western Occult Sciences by way of Agrippa, </B><B>Levi,</B><B> Crowley, Regardie and a host of others for better than 20 years now and am a practicing Ritual </B><B>Magician (solitary Golden Dawn variety).</B></div> <div> <B>I do have a few beloved and Patron Deities. Bastet is a patron as well as Dionysus whom I love. I also have a natural affinity with the archetypes of mercurial energy, specifically Tahuti. I believe in the Christ as an "Ascended Master" and believe his own purpose was to SHOW us the way - not BE the way as is the theme with Pauline Christianity. </B></div> <div> <B> Yes I believe in a Supreme Creator and other God/esses as well. No, I don't believe in the "Devil" , I do however believe in duality but I don't believe they are at odds with one another. I also believe in Hermetics (as above, so below etc.). I'm a Traditionalist and not a big fan of neo-eclecticism or rather this new practice of "anything goes as long as it works".</B><B> I use the word occult because it simply means "hidden", and while there is argument that the word occult is passé because the knowledge is no longer hidden due to the number of books and information out there, I believe it is still hidden from most people (as well it probably should be) because it is presented scattered and peice-meal.</B></div> <bR> <bR> <DIV ALIGN="LEFT"></DIV> <div> <B>I'</B><B>m here - I'm there - I'm everywhere</B></div> <div> <B>You can usually find me </B><B>back in the library </B><B>at the store any given day and I'm available for walk in tarot readings 95% of the time except on Friday evenings however, you may want to call and set up an appointment to be safe.
